There are also secluded swimming areas in the river and it is near to several well documented walking routes. The nearby village of Rouffiac-des-Corbières has a small village shop and fuel pumps. St Paul-de-Fenouillet with small supermarket and some local services, (doctors, dentists, garages) is about 20 minutes away and the major town of Perpignan with theatre, clubs and associations, supermarkets, shops and services and historic centre is just 50 minutes away. The Mediterranean and its beaches are also about 1 hour away. A baker and grocer visit the village on a daily basis. The primary school is 10 minutes away (Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse) and there are middle schools (St Paul-de-Fenouillet and Estagel) about 20 minutes away. There are school buses morning and afternoon.
