Price: € 1 170 000 | Ref.: 2769 | Views: 366
15th century chateau which has always been in the same family since that period until the year 2000 when the present owners bought it, restored it passionately and converted it into a beautiful Bed and Breakfast business. The village is situated in an extremely peaceful, pure and clean countryside in the centre of France, 30 minutes from Limoges. The château has a small lake where 2 white storks and a grey one, plus a family of ducks have taken residence. A stream crosses the property, passing through the 10 hectares of hard wood forest.
The Chateau has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, with 4 of them being ensuites. The ground floor has two, first floor has three and the top floor has three bedrooms and bathrooms. The Coach house/Winter house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The Heated Pool is 10m x 5m, with a wooden deck, enclosed with a wall and pool house, overlooking the quiet pastures. The pool house has a BBQ area and cooking area. There is a sauna in this area, plus another sauna on the other side of the chateau. The forests of the chateau are filled with Oak, Beech wood, wild and edible Chestnut and a few Sequoia. The re are deer, wild boar, duck, pheasant, a pair of Turtle doves, White Owls and Tawny Owls and an abundance of mushrooms.
The house is heated by oil and wood burner. There are 3 septic tanks. There is a natural spring on the property but the house is connected to the main waterline. The property has a total of 86 acres but the owners would like to initially sell the 47 acres, so they have a bit of extra time to relocate their 9 horses.
