The buildings are set in approximately 2 acres of wooded park and a small campsite occupies one side of the property, along with a shower block and parking spaces. There is a 12.5 x 5m swimming pool and children’s paddling pool in an enclosed, terraced area.
The campsite has six pitches, four of which have electricity, large enough for either tents or medium size caravans and camping cars. Designated parking bays. All the houses have an assigned garden area with garden furniture and barbecue.
An irrigation network provides water for the beds in front of the farmhouse and to the productive kitchen garden. This is located on the southern boundary of the property and has a 12m polytunnel that requires recovering. A well in the garden is fed from an underground spring and by surface & rainwater channelled through gulleys.
All the houses drain into a modern waste treatment plant installed in 2013 and with capacity for 25 people. Campsite drainage is dealt with by a cesspit and ‘dégraisseur’ or grease trap.
