Last year, I had the good old Immogo completely rebuilt. It became a multilingual WordPress site that I was supposed to maintain myself. That turned out to be a miscalculation. The standard package didn’t work well with the translation module, and in the end, Immogo became slow and hard to manage.
New! The Immogo Forum.
I’ve already overcome quite a few obstacles with this site, so I decided to change course and launch a new site alongside Immogo: forum.immogo.com.
This new Immogo space is similar to my Facebook groups Houses in France without an agent and Houses for sale without an agent in France. The advantage of the forum is that all the houses are visible on a map, and you can contact the owner directly, without going through me.
New pricing structure
The Immogo Forum is public. Everyone can view everything for free. But to actively participate, a subscription is required. It costs €2 per month. The price of a coffee. Not expensive, but hopefully enough to filter out non-serious users. In addition, advertisers can manage comments on their listing themselves and delete problematic ones.
This means that the pricing structure changes from the uncertain “pay what you want” (which often discouraged people) to a very affordable subscription.

For existing advertisers on Immogo, nothing changes for now. The site remains online and the contact options remain available. There’s a good chance that visitors will migrate to the new forum, where new listings are continuously being added. Subscriptions on forum.immogo.com are temporarily completely free. If you sign up now as a “pionnier,” you’ll be able to post for free for as long as you like. When creating your listing, be sure to use the French version, as French is the main language to reach as wide an audience as possible.
