The brand new Immogo site is still being refined

I recently had Immogo moved from a custom software system to the open source WordPress platform. Although my developers and myself have been doing our best to test and retest Immogo after importing all the old information, there are bound to be some bugs left undiscovered. You never know what will go wrong until it does.

One of the hardest things is the translation system. The translations are made automatically by the magical tool DeepL, but I still need to check each and everyone of them manually.

Another difficulty is the importation of all the existing ads, or ‘listings’ as WordPress calls them, linked to the correct user. Also, all the users will have to log in at least once to revalidate their listing and to recreate a new password. This because, for obvious reasons, on the old site all the users’ passwords were invisibly encoded and could not be imported.

Also, I am afraid that some houses that were originally ‘archived’ have now been put online. So the corresponding owners will have to either reconnect and delete their listing, or send me an email so I can delete their account.

In short, a lot of work has been done to make Immogo better and a lot of work will still have to be done to make it perfect. If you need any help or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me through info@immogo.com.

And of course if you appreciate Immogo and my investments of time and money, feel free to make a donation.
