This completely renovated, cozy and unique Stonehouse in the Castle Hamlet of Chateau de Sibra is an absolute gem! With its high ceilings throughout the house, a spacious feeling is generated throughout. With access to the generous hamlet pool and meadow, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, hills and views of the pyrenees! Castle Sibra can be seen from the balcony, as well as the beautiful ancient and historic ruins of Lagarde. Description

Entering the main floor through a tiled entrance you find a secluded elevated sleeping area to your left with a comfortable, custom made wooden bed. Straight ahead is the second room that can be closed with sliding doors and used as another bedroom or second living room/alternative meditation or yoga room or whatever you wish. The beautiful bathroom is on the main floor as well. It contains a natural stone sink, a brand new washing machine, a bathtub shower and bathroom cabinets. Tiled Floor. The WC, separate from the bathroom, creates more flexibility if you host some guests.

Below the elevated sleeping area, 2 large and spacious wooden storage drawers have been installed, blending beautifully into the atmosphere of the house. Walking up the wooden stairs, you find a spacious living and dining room area with a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and spacious loggia with unique views. The loggia is north-east facing. An additional east window allows you to enjoy spectacular sunrises.

Exterior

The Hamlet pool can be found just a short walk down the hill at the end of the Hamlet. The pool is spacious and surrounded by a peaceful meadow. A few owners live in the hamlet in Sibra all year long, others use their house/apartment for vacations only. Winter months are more calm, summer and spring provide a special experience with the coolness of an old stonehome and pool next door.

Other information

Heating system is electrial. Plus wooden stove you may use to create cozy fires in the winter time. Water system is connected to the entire Hamlet Plumbing System. The Hamlet has been completely renovated about 15 years ago.
