Heating is done with a Tulikivi soapstone fireplace, that uses 3 cubic meter of wood to heat the room the year round. Small electric heater in the bathroom. Warm water by a solar water heater with - in the winter -after-heating through gas (2 bottles/year). Rainwater is recuperated in a 6500 lts tank and used for the toilet, washing machine, garden, etc. The house is optimally insulated with ecological materials. Connection to the sewer.
