A small stream flows through the little valley and springs from its neighbour's spring. The stream and its banks are protected nature reserve with many native deciduous trees such as alder, ash, oak and willow. Part of the land is agricultural and part is 'terrain de loisirs' (recreational area). The spring feeds some tapping points close to the buildings. There are numerous walnut trees on the land, from which there is a good harvest of the tastiest walnuts every year.
