Small house in the village of Auzat (Ariège), an hour and a half from Toulouse. Surrounded by mountains, hiking trails, rivers and streams. Just down the Valley of the Vicdessos you'll find the magical Grotte de Niaux with its prehistoric cave paintings. Two restaurants and a general store in town, supermarket and all services 15 km in Tarascon.
Description
This small, attached house is off a little square without car access (parking less than a minute away). On the ground floor is a little entry way, behind which is the main room equipped with a wood-burning stove/cooker, sink, and a small bathroom (shower, sink, no toilet). On the floor above is a single, open room with three windows and a skylight.
Exterior
The house has no garden (it's in the Pyrénées!).
Other information
The house is not connected to water (waterline outside front door), but is connected to the electricity (meter is installed) and sewage system. It needs roof insulation, new windows, and a toilet to be a cozy, habitable space.
