Description
Full-hight glass window and front door. Beautiful airy and spacious living area with a grand fireplace that came out of a demolished chateau. Modern & newly fitted kitchen. WC with lovely vanity, and a downstair bedroom with shower. Upstairs a nice and bright bathroom with bath, WC and vanity and another double bedroom. Landing with great view down in to the living and kitchen area and you can see all the bare beams and woodwork. Very large cellar with lots of room for storing wood, washing machine and garden furniture etc. It runs along the whole length of the building. An outside double gate-door makes for easy storing of bikes and motorbikes.
Exterior
Outside is a wonderful raised balcony, with large dining table and bbq and views of the beautiful Cantal nature and the garden with beautiful mountain view and gorgeous sunsets. From the balcony there are outside stairs to the nice and easy to maintain garden. It has a safe and sturdy large gate, so you can enter with the car and has also a new fence to keep dogs in. Next to the balcony is a terras with a wood-heated hottub big enough for 6 people.
Other information
This was a barn with no water of electricity before, so everything was newly installed. Wood floors, Water pipes, electrics, sewage, no septic tank as attached to village sewage-system. The 2 bedrooms are insulated, so nice and warm when chilly and cool when hot. Easy system to empty water pipes when you are closing it up for winter. Great neighbours that are very welcoming and friendly without being a nuisance. More photos on request! There are already bookings for the summer of 2025. For seriously interested buyers the owners will gladly provide a link to the rental site as well as give information about the turnover of the gîte.
