This renovated, century-old mansion boasts a breathtaking view over the canal. Since 2010, it has been a place of welcome and sharing, thanks to its bed & breakfast activity. The house

The house has four levels:
It starts with a raised basement with laundry room, storeroom, boiler room, pellet silo and workshop, plus two small storage rooms and outdoor parking for six cars.
The main entrance is on the second floor, with an entrance hall and toilet, then a corridor leading to a fitted kitchen with two small lounges overlooking the canal. Further on, two further lounges (canal view) with another fitted kitchen, as well as an office and a wet-room. The house’s two staircases lead to the second floor, which comprises six bedrooms, five of which have en-suite shower rooms or bathrooms, with a further WC.
The third floor comprises two en-suite family bedrooms, separated by a bathroom, and a 60 m² multi-purpose room with an adjoining room that can be used as an office or small bedroom. The third floor also features a small sunny terrace.

Three hectares of land

The grounds comprise 3 ha of meadow or woodland, including 3500 m² of landscaped garden, two outdoor terraces and a small garden in front of the house.

Technical details

Attic and basement insulation, electrical installations, fitted kitchens, a Hargassner wood pellet boiler, roofing and new balcony railings were all carried out by qualified professional craftsmen. The plumbing system was completely replaced, along with the installation of the bathrooms. The paintwork has also been redone, so the walls are in good condition.

The house has been filmed on the TV program “Des Racines & des Ailes”, and enjoyed by thousands of cyclists on the Nantes-Brest canal.
